It needs a HomeBase 2 already set up and running — the camera has no independent storage or app connection of its own. If you don't already own a eufy HomeBase system, this isn't the product to start with.

Rather than triggering on any movement, the camera's built-in AI identifies body shape and face pattern to distinguish an actual person from a passing cat or a tree branch in the wind. Compatibility

This add-on works with HomeBase 2 and HomeBase E, and pairs alongside existing eufyCam and eufyCam S110 units already on your system. It doesn't connect to the newer HomeBase S380 hub used by eufy's SoloCam and eufyCam 2C Pro lines — worth checking your current hub model before ordering, since the two HomeBase generations aren't interchangeable.
